Volunteer Support Grant Program

I am a Volunteer Firefighter for purposes of Volunteer Support Grant Program if both of the following apply to you:

1. You are affiliated with or are endorsed by an Ohio volunteer fire department, a fire department of a political subdivision or fire district of this state, or a private volunteer company, as a firefighter;
and
2. You are NOT eligible or will NOT be eligible to be a member of the Ohio Police and Fire Pension Fund.

If you commenced work as a firefighter prior to November 8, 1990, please email the OFA at ofaweb@com.state.oh.us so that the OFA can assist in determining status.

YOU MUST ALSO ATTACH THE FIRE CHIEF ATTESTATION FOR VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER APPLICANT

Fire Chief attestation for volunteer firefighter support grant

Reporting Instructions: Report to guard office at front entry. Class starts at 0900 on first day and 0800 everyday after.
