Brief Description
Hybrid version of the OFA Confined Space Rescue Level I & II course
Full Description
This course combines the knowledge, skills, and abilities for both Level I and Level II of Confined Space Rescue and will include all of the objectives in NFPA 1006, Chapter 7, 2013 version. Beginning with atmospheric monitoring and basic equipment overview and progressing through to execution of a confined space rescue with the aid of a complete pre-plan, the student shall cover all articles within Chapter 7.

Rescuer care, air monitoring, patient packaging within the confined space environment, and development of a confined space pre-plan are covered. Students will gain access through openings as small as 16 inches in diameter.

Lunch is included in the tuition fee but students will still be responsible for all other costs associated with the class (i.e., breakfast, dinner, housing).

Resources Required
Student must be in good physical condition and be comfortable in confined spaces.

Personal protective equipment needed includes: helmet (rescue style preferred), eye protection, gloves (rescue or work style preferred), work boots, flashlight or helmet light, knee pads and elbow pads, and clothing adequate for conditions both outside and inside. Firefighting turnout gear is discouraged. Personal harness or other personal rescue equipment may be approved by the instructor.

Reporting Instructions
Report to the security desk in the main building to check-in and receive your classroom assignment. Students must be in class no later than 09:00 on the first day on campus. All other training days will begin at 08:00.
