This course is designed so personnel can become familiar with basic rope rescue techniques. The course will consist of material covered in the job performance requirements of NFPA 1006.

Must be in good physical condition. Feel free to bring any Rope Rescue equipment you would like to use, but realize the instructors of the course must inspect and approve your equipment prior to you using it in the class. The required textbook for this course is; High-Angle Rope Rescue Techniques, Level I & II, Fourth Edition, Navigate 2 Advantage Access Jones & Bartlett ISBN:978-1-284-13615-9. Once you have your book you must use your unique access code to enter Course ID: ______ in Navigate 2. All chapters and sections that relate to NFPA 1006 Chapter 5 Job Performance Requirements and Chapter 6.1 Level I General Requirements are required to be read prior to the start of this course. Please be advised, average delivery time when ordered from a distributor can be up to three weeks or more. Students will be required to successfully complete practical and written assessments as part of course completion. Additional information will be available upon course confirmation.
