Full Description
The Mobile Structural Fire Attack Lab (Fire Blast), in partnership with the Findlay Fire Department, is available as part of our Close to Home - Regional Delivery package. The MSFAL features three live fire training props as well as a roof ventilation simulator.

The unit supports a number of training scenario possibilities including, but not limited to: structural fire attack, transitional fire attack, vent-enter-search, basement fires, industrial fires, rescue, and ventilation from ground ladders and aerial devices. Whether your department is large, small, or in-between, this unit will meet training demands, and all training can be customized to meet your department's needs.

Resources Required
Prior to being permitted to participate in live fire training evolutions, the student shall have received training to meet the minimum job performance requirements for Fire Fighter I in NFPA 1001, Standard for Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications, related to the following subjects:
(1) Safety
(2) Fire behavior
(3) Portable extinguishers
(4) Personal protective equipment
(5) Ladders
(6) Fire hose, appliances, and streams
(7) Overhaul
(8) Water supply
(9) Ventilation
(10) Forcible entry
(11) Building construction
You must possess a current certificate to practice as a firefighter issued
under Section 4765.55 of the Revised Code. Students will need full PPE to
include full turnout gear and SCBA.
