Brief Description: Recertifcation requirements for inspectors certifed by the Ohio Department of Public Safety

Full Description: The fre safety inspector continuing education course meets the recertifcation requirements for inspectors certifed by the Ohio Department of Public Safety, Division of EMS under OAC 4765.
The course will help refresh inspectors on elements of inspection and review components of the Ohio Fire Code. Specifcs topics and rules covered for each one of the four sessions will be
published on the Ohio Fire Academy website.

Prerequisites: I am a volunteer firefighter and wish to receive free training at the Ohio Fire Academy.

I attest that I am affiliated with or endorsed by an Ohio volunteer fire department, a fire department of a political subdivision or fire district of this state, or a private volunteer company, as a firefighter;

and

I am NOT eligible or will NOT be eligible to be a member of the Ohio Police and Fire Pension Fund.

If you commenced work as a firefighter prior to November 8, 1990, please email the OFA at ofaweb@com.state.oh.us so that the OFA can assist in determining status.
